Modeled in 3ds Max, plants were exported from Vue, textures painted in Photoshop, rendered with VRay, final color grading done in Combustion.<br />

	<title>Tempe Town Lake Matte Painting</title>

	<description><![CDATA[<img src="http://features.cgsociety.org/gallerycrits/275723/275723_1195714552_small.jpg"><br><br>This is just a simple matte that I did in a couple of hours. I liked the way the color turned out and since I don't have any other matte paintings up on my gallery, I figured I'd throw this one up here.<br />
The original plate is actually a panorama composed of 6 images. All of the image manipulation was done using non-destructive editing techniques. I used a quick alpha channel mask for the original sky, then dropped the new sky in and distorted it a little more into perspective. The new colorization was done using adjustment layers with differing masks.]]>
